Workplace Diversity Policy

GMTC fully supports gender equality and diversity in the workplace. The selection and hiring of personnel are based entirely on ability and experience, without discrimination based on race, class, politics, ideology, religion, nationality, birthplace, gender, sexual orientation, age, family status, appearance, physical or mental disability, or past union membership. The Company strictly complies with local labor laws and does not employ child labor. In 2023, there were zero discrimination cases.


GMTC actively coordinates and arranges suitable jobs for the disabled from the existing job vacancies, so that the disabled can enter the job market as soon as possible and demonstrate their skills and competencies. The rate of employment in past years has exceeded the regulatory requirement (1%). In 2023, GMTC hired a total of 12 people with physical or mental disabilities, accounting for 1.2% of all employees.

Equal Pay

The Company has established the "Remuneration Committee" to provide employees with competitive remuneration and provide feedback on the operational performance of the Company through a transparent and equal remuneration policy. Due to the nature of the industry, the proportion of male employees is higher than female employees at GMTC, but the pay structure does not differ based on gender. Adhering to the principle of gender equality, employees' salaries, bonuses, and benefits are not influenced by gender; nor is it influenced by other discriminatory factors. The base salary ratio for male and female employees at all employee category is 1:1. The salary for promotion, salary adjustment, and promotion of the Company's employees are reviewed according to the salary structure table. There is no differential treatment based on gender. Salary differences are mainly based on job title, seniority, performance and other non-gender factors.
